    Exclamation trubles with BIND

    I have set up a BIND DNS server for my network. but I am having a problem getting the other linux machines on the network to use it. When they have a static IP address they won't use it but if we switch them to dynamic they have no problems. anyone know what the problem could be?

    in /etc/resolv.conf on the linux machines there should be an entry
    nameserver <dns_ip>
