as the topic name says, this question is about QOS and bandwidth shapeing on linux when its setup as a router...

I've learned that its possible to do some shaping with transparent squid, but its only for fixed bandwidth... my case requires dynamic (as in, multiply by number of active users)

also the QOS problem is quite complex to solve, i've studyed some pages... but has anyone any practical experience (that worked)
