Network = Active, Internet = No Go
I am able to hook up my modem and it seems to be providing wireless service fine to my mac, but I cannot get a connection on linux. I'm running Fedora Core 4 and setup the static dsl options with the the help of the 2wire support site. I think click "activate," it does it's thing, then says active. It also says click the "active on start" option, then save and shut down network and machine. I do both. When I go back to my network settings after the restart it is inactive again. Even while active, I cannot access a webpage through mozilla.
Can someone please unravel the mystery of linux for me?
