    Smile linux novice wanting to setup network

    hi. i am total new to linux and this forum. in my house i have 4 pc's and 2 xbox's and 1 ps2. i want to set up linux to route the internet to all of these via wired lan. and i want the linux box to be able to share wlan at the same time for laptop use. i would prefer to do not much seetting up. is there a disro suited to this? thanks.

    Install prety much any distro on a PC (such as ubuntu),
    install firestarter, (sudo apt-get install firestarter)
    check the box in Firestarter for Internet Connection Sharing..

    it's a place to start...

    As for making the mahcine act like a Wireless access point as well.. that's a bit more difficult.
