wireless vendor id?
My wireless card on my desktop shows in hardware as;
vendor id 4523
device id 8106
subvendor 65535
module unknown
If I could find the vendor name perhaps I can get the chip and configure the card.
Spent two hours on google search, no go.
Anyone know who makes this card?

How's the card connected to your computer? If it's a PCI card, type
on the command line, and the output will include a line likeCode:lspci
which lets you know the chipset your card uses (in my case Prism GT/Prism Duette) which is more useful than manufacturer when trying to get the card goingCode:00:10.0 Network controller: Intersil Corporation Intersil ISL3890 [Prism GT/Prism Duette] (rev 01)
Hope this helps
