Fantastic thread people. Just what I am looking for. I couldn't get my fedora 4 laptop to connect to my mums set top box when i was there last and a friend of mine who also has a set top box has asked me to help him set up a home network. He currently uses windows wirelessly! I nearly spilled my beer. I'm gonna set up an old computer as server to kick start his migration.

I'll keep you all posted.

Ps. I'll be using Debian for this not Fedora.
