Linksys WMP54GS To Work In Knoppix
So I'm going to re-install Gentoo soon, but first, I need to get my wireless card going. I followed athe sticky on this page, but as soon as I did '# dhcpcd wlan0', I got this message 'bash: dhcpcd : command not found.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Also, I saw that you can install Gentoo via Knoppix (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/altinstall.xml). Do you simply set up your /boot, /root, and /sawp first, then create /mnt/gentoo. Because it seems that guide has way many steps less than the Gentoo manual. :\

try dhclient wlan0 or emerge dhcpcd (I think it is on the installation cd).
as for the gentoo via knoppix question, I've never tried it that way so I don't know.Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

But I'll try dhclient once I get home.
