i have 1 pc, 1 adsl modem,1 switch.
1pc+1adsl modem works ;
but i cant make these 3 work at the same time...

If I may ask, if you only have one PC, then what do you need the switch for?

Oh, I see. In that case, you shouldn't have the modem connected to the same switch that the computers are connected to, unless you have ordered a seperate IP address from your ISP. Instead, you should make one of the computers have two NICs and act as a router (with NAT). There are HOWTOs on http://www.netfilter.org/ on how set that up.
