good solid linux proxy distro...
Im looking for a good solid proxy distro. No frillls, just coomand and the config files are easily acccessible. Do you guys know any of theses tha are built for that purpose? (I've ben having issues with squid and tinyproxy.)

I would just use slackware for this, I do belive there is some distro like what u are saying.
But im not sure where it is lurking....

You'll receive a lot of answers here and of course, Squid will be your preferred and most recommended choice for web proxy. Now, as for the distro, it depends upon the one that you are most comfortable. As for stable, pretty much all of them fit that bill; however, if you want a truly stable OS that is a binary clone of Red Hat Enterprise then CentOS would be my recommendation - but remember, your mileage may vary. Try a few distros and answer the question yourself.
