I just installed suse10.0 on my laptop its a Compaq Presario 2100, and it has a CONEXANT 56K ACLINK modem. I did a search on google and ended up on linuxant, got an HSF 2.6.13.15 driver for suse. Installed the rpm and got connected...BUT the problem is that it disconnects randomly and the longest i have ever been connected is 3.1 minutes. And it gives the
pppd daemon died unexpectedly exit status 16 error message, I've been searching for a solution since yesterday but haven't found anything yet can anyone help?
