Hi

I am running vsftpd-2.0.4 on gentoo 2.6.16-gentoo-r9. I wish to create a server from which people can download my distfiles. The anonymous login directory is /home/ftp which is owned by user ftp with ro permissions. I then moved all the files to be shared in this directory and changed their permissions to read-only. Now when I someone makes anonymous login he actually sees a folder called distfiles but when he clicks it, the browser gives the error: 550 Failed to change directory.

What do I need to do? Thanks in advance for any help.
