    There is no config file for network cards per say. The network files are /etc/conf.d/net /etc/hostname /etc/dnsdomainname and /etc/hosts. You edit /etc/conf.d/net for setting eth0 and such, and the others for the hostname and domainname info. There's also /etc/resolve.conf for dns.
