Firewall dropping connections?
Wierd problem, here. Just installed IPCop 1.4.10 on a Gateway PIII 1 Ghz machine with 256 MB RAM and a 40 GB HDD. I have two interfaces, one Red and one Green - both Linksys 10/100 NICs. I have applied 3 Public IP's to the Red network and all seems well on the port forwarding rules. Then, all of a sudden, Internet traffic stops without cause. The firewall may work fine for 15 minutes or may act fine for 4-hours then it will stop all inbound and outbound traffic. When viewing /var/log/messages, nothing seems out of the ordinary.
Does this seem to be a software or hardware issue with the Red NIC? Just curious, this is a new install - running a site with three Web sites and an Exchange Server. Any ideas?

Solved by replacing with a new box.
