In case it wasn't clear. The IANA released several of the previously reserved address ranges last August. It must have taken a while for the bigger sites to transition (Amazon.com and IMDB for example). Once they did, they were no longer accessible to our network.

Just shows that you need to keep up on all the news and check your logs when something stops working for no apparent reason.
