Help setting up a simple linux lan
Hello. I'm running Ubuntu 6.06. I've done a lot of googling and all I want to do is just network a few Ubuntu boxes, like share files etc. My linux box will see my winblows laptop just fine, but my 2 linux boxes won't see each other. I have DSL and a westel versalink gateway 327W router with 4 ports. How can I setup a simple network of linux computers? All my research has turned up in too much indepth stuff with hubs and firewall and all that. So simple yet so hard.
