I have a Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g Wireless LAN Client Adapters (PI21AG). The CD driver notes "Windows 2000 and XP are the only supported operating system". I want to use this wireless card for RedHat 9 OS (kernel linux-2.4.20-. So I installed the Madwifi packet:
rpm -ivh kernel-module-madwifi-0.0.20040107-0_2.4.20_28.9rh90.test.i386.rpm

Then I add 2 new lines to /etc/modules.conf :
alias ath0 ath_pci
alias ath_pci autocreate=sta

But nothing change! I don't see anything for wireless. Ifconfig or Iwconfig are "No wireless extensions".

Could you help me?
