    installing NIC(LAN card) Ethernet card

    I have NIC (Silan SC92031 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter). I have also software floppy.
    which includes:
    sc92031.c
    Makefile
    how can i install new NIC.
    when i try to compile .c extension file. I get huge no of
    errors.
    plz tell me step by step.
