is there a remote backup script or app like norton ghost for linux?
I was wondering if there are any scripts or applications that can take images, or snapshots, of a remote system's harddrive over a network. For example, an application that would be set in the crontab to run at 8PM every day and take an image, or snapshot, of Joe Smoe's Windows XP system along with his daughter's Ubuntu system and then burn them to a DVD without the user ever having to do anything but put a writeable disc in a drive, close it, and walk away.
Thx,
mikfig
