Can you give more information ?
Which kernel version are you using ?
Which version of Red Hat ?Code:uname -a
Those instructions usually work great :

But depending on your kernel version they might not be necessary.
If you have anything below kernel 2.6.14, you need to build and install the drivers manualy, as shown on the link I gave you.
For more precise instructions, please post again.
You basically need 4 things :
-ieee80211
-ipw2200 drivers
-ipw2200 firmware
