IP Tables
Thanx for your help regarding routing, but I want to do routing with IP Tables and not Firestarter as you suggested. I did set it up with Firestarter, but would like some help using IP Tables if possible.

3 requirements
i watched its graphical figure
it is looking best but tell me one thing
in speed point of view it is better than iptables ?
and second thing is can we block sites and ip address through this
and third thing is
can i use it as a cache server like squid
if it fulfill these ideas than i think it is very best but if not then ...

Re: 3 requirements
this is basicaly just a gui front end for iptables now weather it puts the rules in iptables or another deamon or script it works the same in the end....nad i still use it when i run a linux router

firestarter and iptables
if i already have iptbales setup and working and i want to install firestarter for the gui interface can i do that and point firestarter fort he iptbales rules script to take them by default when i run it, in other word can i let firestater get the configured iptables rules by default without reconfiguring it all over again?
thanks
