    Remote file sharing MP3's

Hallo all, I i have a linux machine (naturally) that uses xmms. Now for listening to internet radio. just fine and dandy. But when I want to listen to MP3's from my mp3 server. I am unable to load them to a play list....

I have never been able to do this. Like on xp box that i have I can have my stash of mp3s and listen to them straight from the server. With linux I have to file copy the ones I want to listen to. I cant just listen to them from the server. WHAT GIVES??

    thanks for you support,

    :P

Sure you can, just mount the remote shared directory.
Is the MP3 server a windows machine ?
