    Samba save password

I have finally got Samba working!! I can acces shares on my Windows laptop to my SUSE 10.1 server. What I would like to have is not to have to enter my password to access the shares. Can this be saved and my shares be accessed automatically? I want password authentication, but I would rather not have to re-enter my passowrd after a reboot. When I initially mapped my drives there was no option to save the passord only an option reconnect at login.

Re mapped linux shares and reset all passwords, but still no luck. Once I reboot my laptop when it restarts soon as I login into the laptop the first thing that comes up is a request for my linux password to mount the drives on my windows 2000 laptop. Then my laptop completes logging me in. There has to be a way that the password is maintained. Any ideas?
