    VMWare internet problem

I have WinXP running as a guest in Ubuntu through VMWare. The strange thing is that IE in XP can only connect to www.google.com. Google works perfectly. But nothing else will connect. I can't connect to linuxforums, yahoo or anything.

Anyone know why this could be?

*Edit: The internet works fine in Linspire when it's a guest. Must be a setting in WinXP.

Used DrTCP from broadbandreports and changed the MTU setting to 1400. Now bigger pages load just fine.

I don't know in which network mode you're using on your guest system. For nat it also will work with
    Code:
    iptables -I FORWARD -p tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST SYN -j TCPMSS --clamp-mss-to-pmtu
    executed on your LInux box.

For bridged mode you have to do it the way you did it.
