    mirroring a folder

Is there a way to mirror just a folder off a site?

I'm thinking about setting up a mirror on a server on my network so that if anything goes wrong with any of my machines BIG time, i can reinstall over the network rather than the internet. Is this possible?

    Ideally i want to mirror
    http://195.40.6.41/pub/suse/i386/9.0
    or
    ftp://195.40.6.41/pub/suse/i386/9.0
    NOt the whole server.

Is this possible at all apart from downloading each file individually?

some people will let you rsync a copy of their ftp server, you would need to check the the relevant server admin to find out if this option is available to you.
