Is ext3 invisible to the OS?
Hi,
Basically, I've recovered files off an iomega nethdd which became corrupted, and am now about to format the damn thing so I can use it again
However, since it uses the ext2 filesystem, I'm very reluctant to put any files on it again as this is the third time I've lost data on it - and with a capacity of 250GB, that can be a LOT of work down the drain.
So my question is - if I format the disk as ext3 instead of ext2, will that function just the same under the crappy iomega kernel?
Regards,
Ronald.
