Guarddog not allowing new udp rule
I have added udp bidirectional port 177 - 177 under the Advanced Tab as a User Defined Protocol. This port is for XDMCP chooser (client side). After I added this and tried a XDMCP client it still did not work. I disabled firewall and it did work.
Under syslog I get
Code:Nov 12 06:14:54 localhost kernel: DROPPED IN= OUT=eth0 SRC=192.168.2.x1 DST=192.168.2.10x LEN=78 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=30 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=177 DPT=1068 LEN=58
I have read that Guarddog does not act right with udp? Has anyone resolved this? I have considered Firestarter, but would like to see Guarddog resolved.
