hello guys,

i just installed slackware 11 kernel 2.6.17.13 and been strugling to get a connection going, i did netconfig then cat /etc/resolv.conf, it then generated this in the file;

nameserver 59.xx.xxx.xx
nameserver 59.xx.xxx.xx

then i did dhcpd eth0 to fire it up;

dhcpd: MAC address = 00:08:a2:1d:08:06

it paused for a couple of seconds, then i did ifconfig -a;

now i try pinging a random ip outside my network but it says "connect: network unreachable" so i assume i still havent got a connection. i hope you guys can help me get my internet connection up for i been struggling with these for days now, thank you very much in advance.
