Automount form Solaris 10
Hi all...New member, new post:
I'm primarily a Solaris house running NIS and automount all users from
a variety of servers and clients.
I have zero problems with automounting users from and to any Solaris box
or Linux (RH WS v 4).
I run into a problem when I move a user to a RH partition and try an automount from a Solaris 10 box.
I can auto mount from any other RH or Solaris 7, 8, 9 but only Solaris 10 to
RH does it give me a "permission denied: error.
Tracing the automountd on the Solaris 10 client solaris gives afurther message of
nfs: WARNING: NFS server initial call to cymbal (hostname) failed: Not owner
However, as previously stated, there are no issues with any other clients.
I have tried setting automount to default to vers. 2, 3 and 4 without success.
I'm stumped.
Any help out there?
