I have a problem with one virtual linux machine (VMWare Server Guest):
ping dt157
didnt work (unknown host)
(dt157 is a windows box, ping from other linux machine: no problem)

ping fails resolving hostname
I have a problem with one virtual linux machine (VMWare Server Guest):
ping dt157
didnt work (unknown host)
(dt157 is a windows box, ping from other linux machine: no problem)
host dt157
works well, also
nslookup dt157
in this cases I get the IP-Address correctly.
resolv.conf:
domain myowndomain.local
nameserver 128.1.11.1
nameserver 128.1.11.2
Linux: SLES 9
IP: 128.1.9.11/16
any idea's?
