    Safe way to share files on the net

    Hey guys. I have a lot of files that I want to share with some of my friends around the area. I have Fedora Core 5 installed on one of my machines and I want to upload all of my files onto that box to share. What/how is the safest way to do this?

    I would think scp/sftp with strong passwords(long list of random letters/numbers). You also may only allowing certain ips. However, I offer no guarantees.
