Make a new internet connection in Mandriva linux 2007

    Hi,

I have installed mandriva 2007. I want to make a new connection to the internet. I am using ADSL modem. I choose to configure dsl( ppp0e) and then gave the username and password. Then it asks for installation dvd for installing the ppp0e software packages. Does mandriva not have ppp0e software by default. What is the dvd that it is asking for? What are the interfaces that have to be configured before one can successfully connect to the internet? And also what settings need to be checked on the browser's connection settings? Can somebody let me the steps in detail?

    Please help.

    Thanks.
