    Better Remote Control than VNC?

    Are there any Linux projects relating to a better remote control application than VNC? RDP under Windows works great over WAN connections, but VNC is too slow most of the time (especially when images are involved). It would be nice if a similar technology to RDP was introduced for Linux computers to replace VNC.

    There is a project called FreeNX which might be what you're looking for. Personally, I prefer VNC, but this is Linux, so its nice to have a choice.
