i set up a dns server. it works normally.
but when i issue the command 'dnsdomainname' , nothing is displayed on screen .
anyone can tell me why? and what ...

why does 'dnsdomainname' show nothing?
i set up a dns server. it works normally.
but when i issue the command 'dnsdomainname' , nothing is displayed on screen .
anyone can tell me why? and what should i do in order to get the correct display of dns domainname?

In your hostfile add:
/etc/hosts
192.168.0.1 dns.myhost.com dns
Change the ip address and the long and short names.... and you are done.
