ndiswrapper fatal error fedora 6

[General Idea]

Hello all,

I've successfully installed ndiswrapper (as far as i can tell).
I've installed my drivers (for a wg311v3 pci card).
My "ndiswrapper -l" gives me drivers and hardware present.

When using "modprobe ndiswrapper" I get the response:

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid module format

when I use that command in a terminal (not a gui terminal) it says something like:
(bla/bla/bla/kernel-i1586) should be (bla/bla/bla/kernel -i1686)
FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.15-1.2054_FC5/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid module format

I borrowed the error message from another forum post on linux questions as my computer is 2 levels away from this computer. but the issue is the same I imagine.

okay, that wasent the error <doy> im going to try installing the 16k stack kernel and see what that does to help.
