    eth1: Tx timeout - resetting?

    PC: Celeron 400/64MB ram
Flavour: RH 9 / text mode

    Net conf: eth0 is a 3com PCI NIC; eth1 onboard Davicom DM9102F.
eth0: DHCP; eth1: static ip w/ only netmask/ip defined, no gateway

dmesg IDs the chip as the DM9102 and loads the dmfe driver.

I have set up samba and it is functional.

However, when I copy files to/from this PC (eth1) I keep getting `eth1: Tx timeout-resetting`. And I noticed that copying the files take forever (a 100MB file took 8 minutes to copy!)

I swapped cables to no avail. I even reformatted the PC to Windows, and the NIC works fine.

Anyone have any ideas? I've run out.

Edit: I should mention the errors generally occur only in high traffic across eth1.

Argh, I just found out eth1 is using two ip addresses.

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the wrong one...
