I just installed gentoo, and when it starts up I get this error everytime when It tries to connect to the internet

Timed out waiting for a valid DHCP server response
I just installed gentoo, and when it starts up I get this error everytime when It tries to connect to the internet
Ive connected to the internet while installing and used dhcp to aquire my address and everything. I dont see why it wont work nowError, Timed out waiting for a valid DHCP server response
*ERROR: Problem starting needed service net.eth0
* netmount was not started
Any help is appreciated
