How to config Squid to communicate with another proxyserver?
My network is configured such that all clients' browsers must set their proxy server configuration to manual settings (i.e. for I.E. Tools->Internet Options->Connections->Lan Settings->Proxy Server IP address and port number), pointing to a proxy server (call it proxyA), in order to access the Internet. Without doing so, only intranet servers can be accessed.
I have configured Squid with the appropriate access control lists and access permissions. However, client's browsers get 'Connection timed out' error when configured to use Squid.
Is it because Squid has to be configured to route the traffic to proxyA? If so, how do I go about configuring it? Or is it due to some other errors?
Thanks !

The squid box must be able to reach the internet, otherwise it wont work...
