I am about to get the VZ Fios and learned that they block ports 25 and 80 inbound. I really would like to run a server from home and would like to use smtp and http. I was thinking about maybe running smtp and http on different ports ie 2525 and 8080 and maybe sign up for a web hosting plan somewhere to proxy the traffic for my domain to my local box on the new ports. Have anyone setup something like this before ? how would you go about setting up this ? would squid be the answer ?

Please give me some ideals.
