Multiple servers sharing a single port?
Heya,
Does anyone know if it is possible to set-up a machine so that multiple servers on it can share a single port?
The campus i live on blocks all ports except for one. I would like to be able to connect to two different servers (tomcat / ssh) on my machine on campus. I'm able to do one or the other right now by setting it to listen to available port, but both cannot share the same port. I looked into two options so far- openvpn and httptunnel. Httptunnel seems simple to set-up, but requires a client as well as a server, and i'm not sure if it can support multiple servers on a single port. Openvpn seems to be the best option, but i can't figure out how to set it up, and then once it's set up, how to connect.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
