    wpa enabled acces point on linux


    hey guys;

    i was wondering if anyone has sucessfully deployed a wpa(enterprise or personal) enabled access point and client on linux?i am interested in doing so and any documentation or suggestion as to how to go about it would prove invaluable.

    best bit of advice:
    dont buy any hardware, eg, wireless cards etc until you have checked via google if that particular make/model has an open source linux driver available

    very true.i know a couple of cards that work with hostap and has success with WEP.But i cant find any documentation where someone has deployed a WPA enabled AP on linux.guess people are still experimenting.has anyone ever tried doing this before?
