hello everybody,


iam working on openssl and i need a clarification on certification........

After creating a self signed root certificate.........

while i am trying to issue the certificates for server and clients after creating the certificate requests ......it asks me for same entries for (fields like country name etc) as mentioned in CA and with the client and server certificates ......

my clear doubt is.........

why should the server and client requires field entries names are same with the CA while generating the certificates from their requests(CLIENT , SERVER)...


if any body knows, kindly give the clarification. pls ........
