    doubt on networking

    hello every body,

    Recently i face one interview.......

    The interviewer has ask me ,

    which process in the kernel will handle to differentiate the packets to its own with the other system when thousands of packets at the interface......


    can any body tell me, what action will be performed when a packet is came at the interface..(the packet may/may not to our machine)
