    problems configuring onboard NIC


    I have a gigabyte mobo with dual onboard NICs. the /sbin/netconfig is not working for me. it is a gigabit NIC if that makes a difference. the one i am using is with the nforce chipset it is an Nvidia network controller.

    I am connecting to the internet via a DSL modem. any suggestions on how to get this working?

    Could you give more information?

    Which Linux distribution are you using?

    What is your kernel version?
