    terminal server software for linux


    hi,

    Does anyone know some terminal server software available (free or not) that allows me to bind a serial port (RS 232) to a tcp/ip port on my local machine. The idea is that i will beable to control a modem/PBX from another computer.

    Can you not just ssh to that machine and use minicom?

    im trying to write software to do it, I could make it ssh then run the app but i would prefer not to.
