Controlling layer 3 switch remotely
Hi all,
I have an issue here. In my project, i need to access layer 3 switch remotely through server. The architecture of my network was like below.
A-->S-->LS-->N
A --> Admin
S --> Server
LS --> Layer 3 switch
EN --> external network
LS considered as a passive switch. It used to control all network traffic route from internal to external network. Any rules or control command cannot be set directly inside the LS. It only can be execute through S, which is admin need to telnet LS from S in order to execute access it and execute it.
So, my problem is, I need to access S from A. And so far, i just found several approaches like RPC-based NMS using SNMP. But it seems that, NMS only able to monitoring a nodes.
If u guy have any idea or suggesstion, just let me know. We can discussed it together.
Thanks
