Lan card inop in XP after Suse Install...

    Works fine in Suse!

If memory serves me, I've had this happen b4 but I didn't have any luck with Linux at the time and wiped the dual boot going back to XP.

I am having success with OpenSuse 10.2 so would like to try and fix the problem...

Running an Asus board with an onboard ASUSTeK Marvell 88E8001 lan card.

Card worked fine in XP but now when I boot to XP it tells me that a cable is unplugged and the LED's are out so the card is obviously off...

I've un-installed and re-installed the card to no avail. Can't really imagine that the driver is corrupted in Windoze (states that it's operating properly).

Any ideas? Searches didn't produce much information.

    Thanks!

Did a cold boot (several minutes w/pwr cord out) and all seems to work.

Found an updated driver...we'll see next time I try XP.
