There is no Gui for ldap that I know of , it is strictly command line.
I'm not sure if it supports all of LDAP's functions, but Webmin allows you to administrate the basics at least.

Note: I've never tried any of these LDAP Gui's so I can't comment as to how great/terrible they are.

I use Fedora Directory Server - it's a standalone LDAP server package, and comes with a full java-based UI. Personally I find it easier to use than OpenLDAP, and it's still Open Source.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/
