I have a WMP54G card, downloaded the driver, and used wine to go into setup, but when the graphic setup wizard launches, it is all distorted and impossible to read. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It worked perfectly on windows 2000 (Im new to linux)

Did you try to use the windows driver?
You mention running wine. Did you try to run the windows setup program? I
will not work on linux. You can use the windows driver if you use the linuxant driver wrapper, or the
NDISwrapper on sourceforge. I have never tried either of these.
