I have a very strange "bug". I have severall computers, each has a network card and a wireless network card. I need to have multicasting working between these computers and they usually only have the wireless connected, so it must be through the wireless.

However, if I ping 224.0.0.1 only the computer issuing the ping will reply. The strangest thing is that if I restart the network (doing 'rcnetwork restart' or 'rcpcmcia restart') the computer where I restarted the network starts responding immediately.

Does anyone have any ideas how can I fix this so that I have multicast right after booting.

I'm using SuSE 9.1 Pro with a Pentium III at 1GHz and the wireless is a pcmcia Elsa Airlancer.
