Copying wireless settings to different OS
Alright, so I recently got my wireless USB adapter working in Kubuntu again. I want to copy those settings, attributes, whatever and bring them over to Debian. Is that possible?
Now, I'm not too familiar with how Linux handles hardware, firmware, software, so I don't know if that is possible.
Whatever makes my wireless card work in Kubuntu, I want to copy those files, drivers, whatever those things are, and bring them over into Debian.
I've learned Kubuntu and *ubuntu versions were pretty much based on Debian, so I'm thinking I might be able to copy those attributes and transfer them to Debian. Am I correct in thinking that?
How would I copy what makes my wireless work and tick in Kubuntu Feisty over to Debian Etch?
